Senior Network Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to be a part of our innovative Global Network Operations team. This is truly an incredible time to join us, we are currently implementing large scale changes that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and utilise your capabilities.

A bit about the job:
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be accountable for maximising the value network technologies including, end to end enterprise connectivity and automation (across various hosting and cloud environments). Identifying technical options and their advantages and disadvantages and comfortable with presenting to a less technical audience, along with providing technical leadership in large and small project engagements.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define requirements and objectives is a key requirement, to ensure that technology operations meet these requirements, work with business units to identify and implement processes and automation to drive operational efficiencies and resolve any outstanding operational issues caused by technology.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Deep technical understanding and design experience in several of the following areas are essential: CISCO routing and switching, Wireless Networking, Routing (BGP, OSPF etc), SDWAN (Overlay and Underlay), SASE / SSE, LAN Switching and SASE are desirable
  • Broad vision of industry standards, recent technologies, and key market trends
  • Experience in Network Automation including tools and common scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Great understanding of packet level traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and able to naturally collaborate across teams to deliver successful outcomes

  • Salary national £60,000 and London £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
