Senior Network Engineer

HYBRID WORKING CAREER PROGRESSION £50-£60K pa plus bens AAE

Amdas are recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to oversee the daily operations and delivery of all switching, wireless, firewall infrastructure, and WAN connectivity within our multi-site client who head office are based in Croydon, Surrey, UK.

This is a technically exciting role as the company are on the cusp of rolling out an IT infrastructure upgrade over the network of some 60 sites.

Duties will include;

• Working in a team of IT professionals
• Managing a mixed environment of Cisco and Aruba infrastructure
• You will be responsible for installing and maintaining the following network related infrastructure services;

Cisco Catalyst switching, Cisco Wireless LAN, Aruba CX Switching, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Central, Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ASA and Firepower Firewalls, Internet and WAN connectivity in conjunction with a 3rd party

• Improving infrastructure services by working closely with the project delivery team to deliver a £30m IT refresh within the company
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with departments and sites to ensure that the long-term strategic planning and delivery of core infrastructure services align with business requirements

We invite applications form individuals within the UK with current Right To Work (RTW) status with;

• A relevant Cisco or Aruba qualification
• A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
• A proven track record in working to strict timescales and of working with staff at all levels
• Experience of working in an on-site IT based Customer Service position
• Extensive experience of deploying and maintaining Cisco Catalyst and Aruba CX switching and wireless
• Experience of working with Aruba Central and centralised management of network infrastructure
• Experience of hybrid environments (Microsoft Office 365/Azure)
• Experience of managing Microsoft desktop and server products (Windows 10,11/ Windows Server 2022)
• Experience of Microsoft DHCP and NPS

Detailed knowledge of different cyber technologies across infrastructure protection, application security and information protection.
