The role of a Senior Nurse within the service involves:
Responsible for providing support, leadership and supervision to other team members as appropriate
Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
Carrying out assessments and evaluations
Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
Mentoring junior member of staff
Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Clinical Manager
Requirements for the Senior Nurse role:
You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
Active NMC PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
Clear DBS
Proven ability to build, lead and influence an effective team in a clinical setting
