About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to join a highly reputable and dynamic Private Hospital based in Worcester. If you are an experienced Nurse this is a great opportunity to join their friendly surgical team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The services has 4 theatres, 25 beds, a state- of- the- art endoscopy suite, oncology suite and dedicated clinics. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Senior Nurse to join the team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse on a surgical ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
- Deliver excellent patient care to meet the needs of every patient
- Ability to lead and coordinate team
- Troubleshoot and raise concerns to the Ward Sister or Matron
- Provide support to the nursing team, HCA's and Ward Sister
- Delegate work to others where appropriate
- Competent to make safe discharge decisions working with our consultant team
- Assessing patients health and well - being across a complex and changing caseload
- Actively promote best practice
- Contribute towards improvements
Who we're looking for
- Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 3 years experience on a surgical ward in the UK
- Experience working as a Senior Nurse in a surgical unit
- Autonomous decision maker
- Able to showcase excellent patients care
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible and eager to learn
