To be considered for the role of Senior Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) you will have:
A minimum of a Level 3 childcare related qualification
GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014)
Excellent knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED frameworks
Good time management and organisational skills
About the Nursery:
The nursery has four base rooms, each specifically designed for a particular age group and are all well-equipped to a high standard with stimulating, educational resources and Community Play furniture.
The nursery area is planned to emulate the child's home and as they progress through the nursery the balance moves gently but increasingly towards that of a classroom situation in preparation for school.

The role of a Senior Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) within the Nursery involves:
Always Providing high quality care
Acting as a Key person to several children and maintaining regular contact with parents
Ensuring that the Room is compliant with internal and external policies and regulations.
Planning daily activities, in line with EYFS curriculum
Carrying out supervisions and evaluations
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring they are filed accordingly.
Acting as a mentor and providing leadership to junior members of staff
Ensuring that the Room and Nursery has good staffing levels and arrange cover when needed.
