Job description

R13 are proud to be partnering a prestigious provider of mental health care facilities in their recruitment. Joining an experienced and established multidisciplinary team as Senior Occupational Therapist, you will carry out group & 1:1 sessions to provide occupational engagement and enrichment, carry out assessments and develop treatment plans.

Based in Norfolk, this is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is £35,000 - £42,500 depending on experience.

The day to day

  • Arranging group & 1:1 session for patients to provide occupations engagement & enrichment.
  • Carrying out high quality assessments.
  • Developing individualised plans of care/treatment for patients.
  • Providing flexible, attentive and non-discriminatory care to improve and sustain patients’ overall quality of life.
  • Maintaining concise records and providing reports as necessary for each patient’s case review.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders.

You will have/be

  • BSc Hons or Diploma in Occupational Therapy/ Clinical supervision training/experience.
  • Registration with the Health Care & Professional Council and have at least two years’ clinical experience.
  • A compassionate and respectful individual with exceptional leadership qualities.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, a great attitude to teamwork and a desire to lead on patient care.
