What you'll be doing:

• Seeking Best Practise for the business to improve its ways of working
• Identifying and inserting new technology to the business
• Managing deployment of industrial capabilities
• Underpinning business cases for technological advancement
• Manage relationships with facility owners and Contractors
• The ability to network and interface cross functionally

Your skills and experiences:

• Experience in Senior Management would be advantageous
• IT skills (Microsoft office packages)
• People management and networking experience

Experience & Qualifications

• HND in Engineering/Management or equivalent experience
• Manufacturing/Engineering background
• Wide range of technology experience across varied industries

The Build & Test (SSNA Infrastructure) team:

Reporting to the Infrastructure Principal Build and Test Manager you will lead your team and indirect stakeholders to improve business processes and ways of working. You will be a key player in transforming the outputs through the SSNA production line, enabling the business to operate more effectively and deliver on its commitments. As the Technology Specialist you will be at the forefront of significant modernisation throughout the business.

Day to day you will manage your team and source usable technologies for use in Submarine applications. By delivering improvements in Submarine capability, your team and the wider stakeholders you lead will deliver transformation in the ways of working in UK Submarines.
