Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist - West Yorkshire

Type: Band 6/7, Full-Time

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working alongside a leading community based Neurological rehab company based in Yorkshire and assisting in their search for a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Our client dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families by delivering exceptional outcomes through evidence-based practice and a family-centered approach.

Position Overview: They are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide specialised assessment and intervention services to children with neurological conditions, helping them achieve their highest potential in everyday activities. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the functional needs of paediatric clients with neurological conditions.

* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

* Provide direct therapy services to enhance the child's development, functional skills, and participation in daily activities.

* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's rehabilitation goals.

* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

* Contribute to the development and improvement of services within the organisation.

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements :

* Graduate Diploma, Degree or Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy.

* Ability to work in the UK.

* Registration with the HCPC.

* Advanced clinical skills in assessing and treating children with neurological disorders.

* Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong organisational and time management abilities.

* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
