Job description

My client is a Chartered Independent Financial adviser firm based in Chester. They are recruiting for an experienced, high-calibre paraplanner to work closely with a team of

financial advisers to design, develop, and implement comprehensive financial plans that exceed

clients expectations.

They are looking for a Paraplanner who's as passionate about financial planning as they are.

Working onsite in the Chester office. Reporting to the Senior Paraplanners. This is your chance

Key responsibilities include:

  •  Preparing analysis of client’s existing portfolio
  •  Provision of technical support to Advisers
  •  Completing calculations (i.e., income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension
  • Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling etc.)
  •  Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice
  •  Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation

  •  Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients
  •  Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to
  • meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs

Skills and experience:

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on turning complex financial data into actionable,

client-friendly solutions.

 You have previous experience of working within an Independent Financial Adviser practice

 You have excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy

 You thrive working as part of a team

 You have strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience of IO (Intelliflo) back-office system would be an advantage, together with experience

of some, or all, of the following platforms:
