As our Senior Pattern Technician, you will excel in pattern construction, amendments, and grading, while spearheading size chart creation and sample measuring. Join us to innovate new methods and collaborate closely with our design, product development, and product engineering teams in London, alongside our technical department in Castleford.   Responsibilities: 
  • Receive and relay new style launch information from PD/Design/PE teams to Castleford Technical Development & relevant teams.
  • Create, grade, and amend patterns from sketches, basic blocks, or reference samples, meeting design/PD/PE requirements.
  • Generate and adjust basic blocks for new styles and shapes as requested by the design/PD team.
  • Grade patterns while maintaining styling details and proportions.
  • Develop size charts for all styles and grading, accommodating basic sizes.
  • Digitally create patterns using Lectra & Clo3D systems, digitising paper patterns with relevant details.
  • Prepare patterns for manufacturing processes, including seam allowances, notches, grain lines, labels, and variants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish productionable and cost-effective methods, supporting fit sessions, sampling approval, and seasonal demands.
  Qualifications: 
  • Preferably University graduate in Pattern cutting/Fashion with reasonable industry experience in digital pattern cutting.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel & Office Suite
  Experience: 
  • Minimum 3 years working experience as Pattern Cutter/ Engineer/Technician     
  • Digital pattern cutting experience is must with Lectra/Gerber
  • Strong knowledge in fit, body movement and body proportion
  • Clo3D – knowledge/experience is an advantage 
  • Rainwear and outwear experience is preferable and is an advantage
