Page Personnel are recruiting for a Senior Payroll Administrator on behalf of a highly successful healthcare business based in Bolton.
The purpose of this role is to support the Payroll Manager and small team of Payroll Administrators with the efficient day to day running of the payroll function.

Description
Duties will include:
Payroll Administrator duties include:
- Management information Reporting; Clocking reports for Clinical, Optometrist and Reception Departments.
- Overtime reporting for Clinical, Optometrist and Reception departments
- Bank reporting for all bank staff
- Supervision of the collating of bank time sheets in accordance with monthly deadlines
- Input time sheets for the Bank Payroll monthly (mid-month) approx. 140 workers
- Bank payroll processing end to end
- Liaising with HR re documentation for new starters for both the Bank & Staff payroll
- Set up new starters on both bank & staff payroll
- Overtime collation and importing after confirming all authorisation emails for any increased rates for all staff
- On Call Collation and importing
- Update tax information as required
- Actioning all pay adjustments according to notes listing
- Actioning all sick and unpaid absences
- Assist with Pensions, Automatic Enrolment
- Assist processing leavers
- Setting up Attachment of Earnings from third party in Civica
- Setting up Cycle to work salary sacrifice in Civica
- Reconciling variances between current and previous months' pay
- Providing cover for the payroll manager as and when required
- Assist with payroll queries including dealing with all phone and Email queries
- Arrange advances as required at the end/ beginning of each month
- Assisting with day to day workload management
- Assisting with supervisory duties, KPI's, reviews, 1-2-1's etc.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in a similar payroll position (in house or bureau)
- Have good knowledge of payroll (including compliance and legislation)
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work alone or as part of a team
- Have excellent time keeping and attendance
