Reed Accountancy are pleased to be working alongside a local accountancy practice in their search for a Payroll Manager.
The role involves managing and processing the end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients who have varied staff numbers, reporting requirements and payroll cycles.
Key aspects of the role include:
Collating time critical data from clients and uploading into multiple payroll processing software
Calculating all manners of statutory pay and pension contributions
Providing clients with a wide variety of reports
Uploading data to various auto-enrolment pension portals including Nest, People’s Pension etc.
Calculation of AoEs
Setup and process of BACS payments from client’s bank accounts for net wages, PAYE and other ad-hoc payments
Processing and delivery of year end reports and P60s
Ensuring all payroll activities and procedures are up to date with legislative and statutory requirements
Liaising with HMRC on client’s behalf when necessary
Cross checking payroll calculations of other payroll colleague(s)
