My client are looking for a Senior Payroll Admin to join the team at a busy payroll bureau. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of payrolls, processing them in line with our service level agreements (SLAs) and within KPIs. You will also be expected to assist colleagues and provide clients with top-level payroll and customer service. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with the development and growth of the business by working to improve services and develop new business opportunities.
Here are the key responsibilities and accountabilities for this role:
Manage portfolio of payrolls (monthly, fortnightly, and weekly).
Process payrolls from start to finish and provide support and advice to clients.
Liaise with clients and third parties.
Deal with transfers of clients in and out of the business.
Set up and close PAYE schemes.
Resolve payroll issues and HMRC queries for clients.
Work with the team to improve and develop the payroll department.
Assist the team to make sure all work is completed.
Manage pension administration for clients.
Perform ad hoc duties as required.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in payroll and be experienced in managing multiple pay periods across several payrolls. Bureau experience would be an advantage. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of at least 3 years’ experience in payroll.
