Job description

Senior Pensions Administrator, 26-28k, Liverpool

Your new company
Our client is a well-established pensions company, which delivers first-class administrative service to a number of FTSE and multinational companies across the UK. Their strong reputation is built on technical expertise and quality service, and they are now looking for an ambitious professional to join their team as a full-time, permanent Senior Administrator.
Your new role
As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will engage in using multiple financial systems to manage client accounts and process high-level updates to their packages. You will engage with a wide range of routine and non-routine financial documentation, making changes to the accounts of established clients in line with FCA regulations and challenging deadlines. Your key duties will include handling and resolving pension queries both verbally and in writing, investigating issues with client accounts and providing the best solutions, and handling changes to complex client cases such as cases relating to retirement, death, drawdown, switches, and ill health. You will produce schedules, summaries and reports ensuring customer data is handled with integrity and maintained as accurately and up-to-date as possible - being responsible for your own workload and casefile of clients.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you should have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You will need to possess good IT skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with senior stakeholders inside and outside the business. It is essential that you have worked in Administration within Pensions previously and have some working knowledge of the Pensions sector. It would also be beneficial but not essential if you have a background in quality checking peer's work and/or coaching/training junior staff.
What you'll get in return
You'll benefit from the incredible opportunity to build a career in a long-established, highly-regarded company with lots of progression opportunities. You'll receive fully comprehensive training on systems and specific pension regulations and a starting salary of between 26-28k with an excellent benefits package to match. You will work 9-5:30 Monday to Friday and benefit from fantastic flexible working options, such as a flexitime policy which allows you to choose flexible variations of your working hours (such as 8-4 or 10-6 etc); and a hybrid working policy which allows you to work remotely 3 days a week (after your initial onboarding period). Mostly, you will benefit from working for a company that nurtures its employees, choosing to promote from within on a regular basis.
