We have a brand new and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business partnering team within the People and Development department at Solent University.
As part of this role, you will be required to provide a broad range of People and Development advisory and administrative support to Business Partners as an integral part of the delivery of the business partnering services to academic and Professional Services departments. This includes the provision of support across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring that high standards are adopted across all people management practices specifically business partner focused whilst contributing to the achievement of the People and Development enabling plan.
To be successful in this role, along with a passion for customer service, ability to problem solve and effectively prioritise work, you will need to have:
Excellent administrative skills with a good attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
Strong organisational skills able to prioritise and manage own workload effectively.
Ability to work well as part of a team, sharing information and proactively supporting other members of the team.
Ability to raise issues with Business Partners and Senior Business Partner ensuring that any business partnering matters can be satisfactorily resolved.
Solution focused with the ability to challenge the status quo.
CIPD level 3 or part qualification in level 5 along with previous experience of using integrated HR and Payroll systems, ideally Resourcelink would also be desirable.
