We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced People and Organisational Development Business Partner to join our P&OD team and become a trusted Business Partner to our senior leaders.

As one of two Senior P&OD Business Partners, you will jointly lead, manage, and develop a small team of P&OD Business Partners to deliver a professional and proactive strategic People and Organisational Development service that fully supports the business objectives of Karbon Homes.

About the role

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering the People Strategic Plan, ensuring the business needs are understood and are delivered through the plans which are aligned with organisational strategic priorities.

You’ll be part of our wider P&OD team with customer service embedded at its core and a vision of delivering engaged high performance while you will primarily support a number of key directorates, you will also contribute to the strategic development of the P&OD function by leading the delivery on organisational wide projects.

About you

First and foremost, you will be an accomplished P&OD Business Partner with demonstrable experience of partnering with executive management teams and senior stakeholders to deliver data led people strategies and implementing action plans.

· You’re an excellent communicator with strong influencing and collaboration skills, the ability to build effective relationships and are comfortable operating in both a coaching and mentoring role.

· You have a pragmatic approach, with people at the heart of everything that you do, and your customer service ethos will guide you.

· You’ll be prepared to provide constructive challenge and able to deal straightforwardly and honestly with challenging situations.

· You’ll have analytical, systems and design thinking with an ability to measure impact of interventions across the business to identify return on investment and benefit realisation.

· You’ll be adept at objectively analysing and evaluating multiple sources of evidence to create insight, identifying sources of bias, trends, themes and connections.

· You’re great at working on multiple projects from brief to completion, while instilling huge confidence in those you work with by managing these effectively.

- Senior People & OD Business Partner – permanent role

- Salary is £57,132 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2152 per annum

- Location: Flexible North East based (Hybrid with expectation of regular time in Karbon offices)

- Regular travel will be required accross office footprint

- 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
