Senior People Success Manager (Senior HR Manager)

Location:  Birmingham
Contract:  Permanent, Full time
Salary: £46,000 - £60,000

Role Overview:

  • Oversee and manage the HR operations, including but not limited to employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll administration, benefits administration, and HR management system
  • Assisting with the implementation and contributing to the people/recruitment strategy Provide business partnering for the leadership – providing senior-level HR advise
  • Ensure compliance with HR legislation and company policies
  • Lead the talent acquisition process, collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implementing effective recruitment strategies
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover
  • Supporting and advising the senior management team, HR Business partners, and managers on complex employee relations issues
  • Provide training and ensure the ongoing competency to the HR Business partners in conducting investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, conflict resolution and mediation
  • Provide training and support to the PST Administrator
  • Conduct quality checks on the HR system and digital HR contracts and any associated paperwork
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives including Diversity, Equality and Inclusion
  • Oversee the performance management process, including policy development, goal-setting, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Provide coaching and support to the HR Business Partners and managers on performance-related matters
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to identify training needs and implement programmes that enhance employee skills and capabilities
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies forms and procedures in compliance with changing laws and industry best practices
  • Ensure that policies are consistently applied across the organisation
  • Analyse HR metrics to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and provide insights to inform decision-making
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership on HR-related activities
  • Ensure that all HR forms, internal processes and service level agreements are met and regularly reviewed to ensure department efficiency
  • To maintain courtesy and accurate, informative presentation in all communications. To provide flexibility and cover across the team as appropriate
  • To maintain Courtesy, professionalism, and high standards of presentation in all communications with customers and potential customers
  • To perform all tasks and duties when required providing flexibility and covering a team working environment

You must report data incidents in line with Company Policy.   • Operates within defined risk appetite levels, and within the context of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), Risk Strategy, and all associated policies
  • Ensure compliance with the company health and safety rules and requirements, ensuring own safety and that of colleagues at all times; raising risks identified immediately and following all health and safety instructions.
  • At all times, ensure that customers are put first in everything they do, following all policies and procedures, especially those relating to The Consumer Duty
