Context and responsibilities within this role:
The Philanthropy Individuals team is part of the charity’s wider Major Donors department which itself sits within the Income Generation Directorate. They focus upon high level, individual donors and are responsible for securing major gifts ranging from four to seven figures+.
Their success is founded upon building high quality and enduring relationships between the charity and those with the capacity to make transformational gifts.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager works closely not only with direct line reports across the region, but also across various disciplines of fundraising and service delivery, to ensure a collaborative and colligate approach to income generation in order to maximise opportunities for all.
With an income target nearing £1million, this vital role will line manage a Philanthropy Manager whilst focussing on driving new business income at the six and seven figure level.

You’ll need to demonstrate your own experience of managing and acquiring major donor supporters, so that you can lead your team with authenticity and dynamism.
Great at building relationships.
Line management experience ideally.
Working on 5/6 figure gifts.
