Salary: Full time starting salary is normally in the range £45,585 to £54,395 with potential progression once in post to £61,198 Are you a qualified and experienced physiotherapist looking for a new challenge? If so, you will be interested in applying for one of the three Senior Physiotherapist positions available at the University of Birmingham's Centre for Movement and Wellbeing (MoveWell). A trailblazing centre for movement and wellbeing, MoveWell is dedicated to elevating both physical and mental wellbeing to new heights. We offer a range of services and activities for various clinical groups, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, hepatology, oncology, and more. We also conduct cutting-edge research and translate the latest scientific advancements into practical clinical applications. As a Senior Physiotherapist at MoveWell, you will: Lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing evidence-based practice from assessment through to pre/rehabilitation. Engage in service development and leadership, continually enhancing clinic offerings and service delivery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the university and beyond, contributing to our reputation as a centre of excellence for health research. Mentor junior staff and students, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth. Drive revenue generation through innovative service offerings and patient/client satisfaction. Assist with the clinical research and data collection that will be working alongside clinical activity. To be eligible for this role, you must have: A physiotherapy qualification and current HCPC registration and relevant insurance indemnity such as CSP. An MSc qualification or be working towards one. Significant post-registration clinical experience in one of the identified areas of focus within physiotherapy, with a strong focus on pre/rehabilitation and/or injury assessment. A commitment to quality enhancement, research-informed practice, and continuous professional development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with diverse client groups.
