Senior Placing Broker

They are looking to strengthen their broking team by recruiting an experienced Senior Placing Broker.You will be joining a dynamic, fast-paced and highly meritocratic environment with exciting opportunities for ambitious professionals to progress their careers.

Overview

• This is primarily a market facing role.
• You will be responsible for understanding risks and identifying client requirements.
• Ensuring that the team are in possession of all relevant risk information.
• Ensure the accuracy of market broking documentation.
• Identify suitable markets and devise an effective placement strategy.
• Lead negotiations with Lloyds, Company and overseas markets.
• Ensure all underwriting queries are resolved and the placement process progresses without undue delays.
• Work closely with the Account Executives to ensure an efficient and client-focused service.

The successful candidate will be working in a fast moving, results driven environment, so as well as possessing the necessary face-to-face London Market broking expertise, candidates must be able to adapt quickly and have the ability to devise innovative solution to obstacles.

The business is a mix of casualty and professional lines emanating from Europe, so candidates need to possess some experience of placing international business into the London Market.

What you need to know:

Permanent role

• Flexible Working Options

1.Work in the City office for 4 days per week, 80% of the hours (28 hours per week instead of 35) and get 100% of the salary

2.Or, work 5 days a week with 1-2 days out of the 5 working from home and rest from city office.

• Salary is Open + OTE bonus + benefits package.
