Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Planner to inspire clients and colleagues to make disruptive, effective ideas using insight, ideas, and influence.
As a Senior Planner at TBWA\MCR, you will:
• Act as the strategic lead for key clients, by developing insightful, disruptive strategies, creative briefs, and comms plans, providing persuasive rationales to support your recommendations.
• Be a catalyst for creative excellence - helping to nurture the agency’s passion for creativity with inspiration, insight and a shared enthusiasm for ideas and the briefs that will get us there.
• Nurture and protect the idea in the way we feedback and sell-in our thinking.
• Measure the effectiveness of our work and act as a champion for effectiveness internally and externally.
• Build trusting and influential relationships with internal team members and key clients – based on honesty, insight, dedication, and clarity of thought.
Key requirements:
• Ability to comfortably move between brand and creative strategy to marketing planning and research to campaign and communications planning.
• Skilled in writing inspiring briefs and getting the best out of creative teams.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and moderation skills
• Strong digital knowledge and experience – attuned to the latest best practices and emergent digital trends.
• Experience in line management and, passionate about mentoring and motivating junior talent.
• Enthusiastic, driven, and able to work well under pressure and at pace.
• Passionate about insight, with a healthy obsession for getting under the skin of a business and how it works.
• Possesses highly effective written and verbal communication skills and is an inspiring and engaging presenter.

Benefits
Salary-to be paid in 12 monthly instalments.
Working hours-35 hours per week; core hours 10am to 4pm.
Flexibility-to be based in the office more days per week than not, with Tuesday's and Thursday's mandatory.
Holiday-21 days, plus 3x days at Christmas, plus 1x birthday day off.
