As a Senior Planning and Performance Executive at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) you will be crucial in enhancing our Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement (MFE) offering. You’ll help us plan and optimise our operations and Performance, aligning them with our financial, brand, health, and customer engagement objectives.
You'll ensure we are making informed decisions, that our Marketing and Fundraising activities are adding value and identify opportunities to grow income.
You will be:
- Improving Marketing Operations: Continuously improving our core Marketing and operational processes, fostering efficiencies, collaboration, and providing necessary training and development.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensuring Marketing and Fundraising strategies are aligned with resources of the MFE team, providing valuable strategic insights, offering recommendations, and monitoring.
- Project Delivery: Working closely with the Marketing Strategy and Planning team to deliver key projects, contributing to the success of our Marketing and Fundraising strategy.
- Performance and Financial Measurement: Regularly analysing our MFE activities against targets, offering insights to help us achieve our strategic objectives swiftly, and ensuring that outcomes are translated into action.
- Activity Prioritisation: Use a comprehensive scoring matrix to prioritise Marketing and Fundraising activities, helping advance our mission and revenue. You'll modify these priorities in response to evolving changes.
Working arrangements
This is 12 month fixed term contract covering family leave.
This is a blended role where your work will be dual-located between your home and our London office.
At the BHF, we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. About you
Your experience includes identifying operational and strategic challenges, creating innovative solutions, and rigorously monitoring their effectiveness. You’re well-versed in managing operational plans and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Preferably, you'll have a background in fundraising and/or marketing, with a history of engaging diverse audiences, stakeholders, and supporters, as well as experience delivering profitable campaigns.
With outstanding financial and data analysis skills, you are able to leverage insights to recommend process enhancements, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
A proactive problem solver with a passion for process optimisation, confident in challenging the status quo, you possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You’re capable of negotiating and influencing at various organisational levels and managing multiple fast paced projects independently.
