The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Managing Associate or Partner to join a successful team. This will be a key appointment for the team and the successful candidate will play a key part in supporting growth in Leeds.
You will work closely with the Partners across a wide range of planning matters from non-contentious legal agreements (largely s106 agreements) to planning enforcement, CPO, highways/public rights of way, planning strategy, BNG and nutrient neutrality and CIL advice.
There is a broad client base to include house-builder clients, social housing clients, local authorities, health trusts, individuals, large private and charitable estates and retail operators.
What they're looking for:
· Qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE
· Experience gained within an established planning practice
· Ideally experience of overseeing/supervising junior team members
· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
· A strong commercial acumen and the drive to develop the existing practice.
The successful candidate can expect to be offered a competitive salary in the region of £70k upwards depending on experience. As well as hybrid working and a range of other benefits including pension scheme, bonus scheme and a range of flexible benefits such as life assurance, holiday purchase.
