Job description

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Senior PMO Analyst to join our team in the Bedford region. The Senior PMO Analyst will perform a leading role in ensuring the quality and completeness of programme data and delivering accurate and timely reporting to decision makers. The Senior PMO Analyst role is also a key interface between leader, development, design and delivery teams and ensures that the impacts of decisions are fully assessed and understood.
What you’ll be leading on
Lead development, design and delivery teams in the maintenance of accurate and complete project and programme data and information. In accordance with National Highways reporting requirements, review the quality, completeness and integrity of data uploaded to National Highways business management systems
In accordance with National Highways governance policies and reporting cycles, develop and deliver timely and accurate analytical reports enabling effective management of project and programme scope, cost, schedule, outputs and efficiencies. Rigorously evaluate and challenge reporting to ensure quality and completeness. Understand and highlight where information contained in reports has wider implications for programme success. Be prepared to develop and deliver bespoke reports on request.
Lead project and programme governance meetings including Project and Programme Board and Management Meetings, Scheme and Stage Gate Reviews and Working Day Round meetings. Develop and deliver analysis, insights and recommendations to decision makers including Directors and Senior Managers.
Oversee registers of project and programme risks, opportunities and issues, and manage monthly reviews in accordance with National Highways governance policies. Working with project development & delivery teams, ensure that effective risk and issue management actions are recorded and completed within agreed timelines.

To be successful you’ll need
Extensive experience of Programme / Project Management or Programme Management Office
Experience of working in government regulated business is desirable.
Stakeholder Management experience
Accredited qualifications in Programme Management Office or Programme / Project Management or working towards is essential.
Knowledge of Oracle applications, P6 Primavera, MS Office applications, CONFIRM, CEMAR is desirable
