What to expect
Play a part across several exciting projects within Post Office. You will provide the services encompassed within the capabilities of the PMO including: planning, reporting, RAID log management, Project Finance Management, governance, resource management, administrative support, communications, change request management, and RTQ management
You will also provide PMO support for large, enterprise wide strategic change projects and workstreams, which are typically housed within a programme structure, as well as deploying central change management process and standards across change activities.
You will be working in a cross functional matrix team, deliver complex activities ensuring that the scope, time, quality and cost of the projects are maintained.
The activities delivered through this role will contribute towards programme deliverables and the Post Office’s strategic change agenda.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Change Management with the ability and flexibility to work within defined framework
- Project Management skills with ability to highlight risks and issues
- Ability to drive forward change and challenge groups of programme teams and stakeholders
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work collaboratively within the team, influencing, facilitating and negotiating when necessary
- An understanding of Agile Frameworks (Scrum, Kanban XP etc)
- An understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- An understanding of servant leadership and the ability to foster a collaborative environment which promotes individual empowerment and successful self organising teams
- The ability to accurately articulate clear and concise requirements with a clear view of business value and benefits realisation
- The ability to clear impediments such as external dependencies or challenges outside of a team’s immediate control
- Extensive experience in delivery of complex business focused strategic change in project, portfolio and programme management.
- Experience of delivering projects using an Agile Framework (Scrum, Kanban, XP) (desirable)
- Experience of delivering projects within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) (desirable)
