Senior PMO - Manchester/Hybrid - £65,000
My client is a player in the financial services sector and they’re looking to welcome a Senior PMO to their team to provide oversight, governance and management of the full portfolio aligned to the overall business strategy and objectives.
The Role:
As the Senior PMO you will define and maintain project management standards and processes, ensuring that all internal projects are executed in-line with these ways of working to be delivered efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the PMO strategy across the portfolio of projects - define policies, procedures and governance structures to drive consistency throughout the organisation
- Manage the full project portfolio and budget
- Continually review projects to assess adherence to standards with a continuous improvement mindset
- Utilise tools, technology and methodologies to enhance project management efficiency
- Stakeholder management - communicate project status, risk & issues effectively to relevant stakeholders
About you:
- Experience in a similar role overseeing the management of a portfolio of projects across different business/IT functions
- Waterfall & Agile experience
- Capacity & Resourcing Planning experience
- Experience with PM tools
- Confident in communicating and influencing at all levels
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

An established leader in Financial Services with a national UK presence - they have offices located nationally but this position is to be based out of their Manchester office.
