Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and execution of the Castle Point Plan, ensuring it meets strategic, community-driven outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with team members, stakeholders, and partners to align with the borough's vision and objectives.
- Facilitating broad-based community engagement to ensure that planning policies are inclusive and effectively address local needs.
- Adapting planning strategies based on robust engagement and evidence.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team by embracing innovative planning policies and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in planning policy with a focus on urban regeneration and community development.
- Ability to lead and influence strategy and policy development effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The capacity to adapt to new ways of working and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to promoting safeguarding and welfare practices within the community.
