Summary
My high-profile utilities client is looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join their team Based at their Warwick offices on a hybrid basis (2 days a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.
As Senior Portfolio Analyst you will lead on delivery of portfolio-level benefits tracking process and provide support to the PMO team with portfolio management processes.
Key Accountabilities
Portfolio level Benefits Management
· Develop a strong understanding of the ESO's Business Plan benefits mapping (training will be provided)
· Coordinate collection of benefits metrics data
· Develop appropriate reporting format to feed into governance forums and senior leadership meetings.
· Work with stakeholders across the business to improve high-level benefits management process.
· Advise on on-going systems approach to streamline management of benefits data.
· Advise on Benefit structure for future releases with close partnership with the regulation team.
Portfolio Management Support
· Develop a good understanding of the ESO's change delivery framework and Business Management Standards (BMS)
· Provide advice and support to business stakeholders on portfolio processes including management of benefits, risks, issues, dependencies and lessons learned.
· Provide support with second-line programme and project assurance audits based on BMS requirements
· As required, provide support to Portfolio Delivery team, including with provision of flexible resourcing services
Experience
Required:
· Experience working with Delivery Frameworks and Business Management Standards
· Strong PMO/Analyst experience in either project, programme or portfolio setting.
· Undertaking data analysis
· Preparation of management reports
· Process review and improvement
· Working autonomously
· Working with wide range of stakeholders
· Comfortable working to deadlines
Desirable:
· Leading benefits management processes
· Experience with Government Functional Project Delivery Standards.
