Children and Young Persons Counsellor
Beacon Counselling is a registered charity that exists to improve Mental Health and well-being for all.
Beacon provides counselling to Children and young people at various schools throughout Greater Manchester in addition to providing therapeutic support to Children and young people outside school in other services, projects and partnerships.
As part of our continued development as a charity we are recruiting counsellors to our growing CYP team providing counselling to Children and young people in schools and communities across Greater Manchester.
Working closely the Children’s Service Manager, Children’s Services Administrator and counselling colleagues, you will play a vital role in Beacon’s commitment to delivering high quality Mental Health services.
As well as being a skilled therapist, you will have a passion for improving the Mental Health of Children and young people and able to act as an ambassador for Beacon within schools and the community.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to succeed through working autonomously and with others, has high standards of work, and is passionate about seeing the best outcomes for clients, ensuring Beacon builds on its success in helping others.
Contract: Permanant
Salary: £31,005 pa pro rata
Hours: Various hours available with a minimum being 18 hours per week - flexible, but some evening work will be required
Location: Beacon House (SK1, Stockport) and School Based
