Position: Senior Practitioners
Location: Farnham House, Stevenage (Office and Remote Working)
Salary: £46,464 - £50,512 per annum (including market enhancements and welcome payment)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

About Us:
Ackerman Pierce, in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, is seeking dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioners to join our esteemed MASH Team. At the gateway, we work collaboratively to safeguard vulnerable children across Hertfordshire.

The Role:
As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. You will manage a diverse caseload, applying your expertise to handle complex cases effectively. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and contributing to team development initiatives. This role offers a dynamic blend of office-based and remote working opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex cases, applying a high level of autonomy and expertise.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs and develop tailored care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate support services for children and families.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff members, contributing to their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize workload effectively.
• Empathetic and supportive approach, prioritizing the needs of children and families.
• Sound analytical skills, with the ability to make robust recommendations.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
