Job description

Hosted by Newcastle Hospitals and working as a member of the Trust Education and Workforce Development Team, the Senior Preceptorship Leads primary purpose, is to lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of the Preceptorship Offer. The Senior Preceptorship Lead is responsible for the development and review of both programme, policy and preceptorship packs. As a gold standard, they would provide a development programme and support network for preceptors. Maintain a register of preceptors to assist in the identification of trained preceptors for new registrants. To lead on the Trust attaining and maintaining the national Preceptorship Quality Mark. The post holder will strive towards the development of a support network of Preceptorship Champions across the Trust. As a member of the Education and Workforce Development service provide high quality, responsive education and development activity and support, to meet organisational objectives.
