AddressSenior / Principal Electronic Design Engineer required by a high-tech company located in their Marlow office. The Senior / Principal Electronic Design Engineer will be a "hands on" Technical Lead of a small team comprising of three Design Engineers working on full lifecycle FPGA design.
The Senior / Principal Engineer is likely to have a degree in electronic engineering or similar subject and extensive commercial experience with digital circuit design including FPGAs and embedded processors. Any experience in technical leadership or mentoring less experienced engineers would be a distinct advantage. The role would suit an existing Tech Lead or a Senior Engineer looking to make the step up.
Key experience
- Circuit design including FPGAs and embedded processors
- High speed digital design
- EMC and safety appreciation
- Involvement in product design alongside product managers and other functions within a business
- Ability to lead technical projects
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite
- VHDL programming
- Embedded C/C++ programming
- Embedded Linux
- Board level circuit design
- Networking protocols
- PCB design
- Altium
- Video and/or audio SPI and IP standards
- Broadcast industry knowledge
