The Role
As a Senior/Principal Associate in Personal Injury, you'll provide specialist legal advice, manage multi-track and catastrophic injury claims, and contribute to complex work. Responsibilities include client support, negotiation, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with life-changing injuries, negotiate with insurers/solicitors
- Draft pleadings, applications, and witness statements
- Manage and guide a paralegal/assistant
- Adhere to Best Practice Policy, meet targets, ensure efficient administration
- Support business relationships and comply with professional standards
- Contribute to departmental and firm business plans
- Engage in business development and support key relationships
- Commercial attitude, effective delegation, and commitment to deadlines
- Accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality work presentation
- Experience in delivering the highest client service standards
- Discretion, tact, and commitment to confidentiality
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Sound grasp of personal injury law
- Willingness to engage in business development
- A good understanding of serious/catastrophic injury claims
- Familiarity with The Rehabilitation Code, Serious Injury Guide, and related laws
