Job description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Private PA TO SUPPORT an ultra-high-net-worth family in Los Angeles, California. A right-hand role, you will provide support to the family across all areas of their private life.

 

The ideal candidate will become the gatekeeper for the family, you will assist with managing their busy diary and inbox, scheduling appointments, personal shopping, organising everchanging travel and logistics, and liaising with the household staff to ensure their lives are always running smoothly. Working in tandem with a Junior PA, you will work to pre-empt the family’s needs and exceed expectations.

 

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be a logical and operational mastermind with the energy, dedication and skill to always go above and beyond. Solution-focused, you will overcome all hurdles in a calm and professional manner - meticulous attention to detail is essential for this role. You will be highly organised, disciplined and efficient, always being accountable and one step ahead.

 

Based out of the principal’s home in LA, typical working days are Monday - Friday, however, flexibility will be required - there will be no structured hours and on-call availability is imperative. The ideal candidate will be happy to travel with the family and live a commutable distance from the residence.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Managing busy schedules and appointments
  • Managing purchases, invoices and expenses 
  • Extensive and complex travel arrangements - experience with advanced staff travel, jets, and yachts
  • Booking glam teams
  • Meticulous packing oversight – prepare and maintain packing lists
  • Events management & coordination 
  • Restaurant & leisure bookings  Research into the latest trends (fashion, toys, etc)
  • Shopping on behalf of the principals in coordination with their stylist
  • Managing inventories
  • Maintaining contact lists
  • Liaising with their wider team to ensure the smooth and transparent running of the households
  • Run errands and perform other duties as needed

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Prior Private PA experience ideally in a similar role supporting a UHNW family
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • High flexibility and versatility
  • Very adaptive, proactive and reactive
  • Hands-on and hardworking
  • Highly organised and great attention to detail
  • Trustworthy, loyal, and discreet
  • A strong team player and great communicator
  • Polite, direct, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role
  • Demonstrate previous work experience as part of a busy team
  • Eligibility to work in the USA Live within a commutable distance from LA
  • Fluent in English – in both written and conversational
  • Excellent checkable references
