THE ROLE - SENIOR PROCESS TECHNOLOGIST
BASED IN DERBYSHIRE/NOTTINGHAMSHIRE BORDERS
Reporting to the Site NPD Manager and with a small process team reporting in, you will lead and manage the effective delivery of all product transfers (NPD and EPD) from concept approval to launch ensuring an effective handshake between Process and Operations.
Also, you will support the operations team in driving process improvement and partner across the business to ensure delivery on private label and brand customer projects; simultaneously, build, develop and nurture positive customer relationships enhancing customer confidence.

THE CANDIDATE ABOUT YOU
Experience in FMCG/Food/Beverage manufacturing production and processing, in a Process/NPD/Technical role is essential.
You should also have experience managing a small team, maximising your team performance via a mentor mindset and supportive and cohesive team approach.
Essentially you must be comfortable working at pace in a dynamic environment of organisational evolvement and change.
A degree or equivalent in Food Science/Manufacturing would be advantageous, moreover, equally important is a sound performance track record in the workplace, a passion for creative improvement and a curious mindset as well as a sound understanding of what GMP looks like.
This is a hybrid role, your main place of work will be based in the office where you will carry out most of your duties, but there will be some scope to work from home.
