SalaryA major and investing Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Senior Process Technologist to join their Technical team. This Senior Process Technologist will manage the evaluation and measurement of process improvement initiatives, including optimising product recipes, to effectively oversee and manage the implementation of NPD and EPD projects.
Process Technologist Responsibilities include:
Product scale up, trials
Drive and Implementation of NPD and / or EPD projects at site
System in place to track process variability to minimise within measurement tolerances
Review, update and manage ongoing governance of site CIP’s
Product and Equipment Testing
Management and communication of product recipes. Systemised tracking and implementation of all changed.
Manage and report on activities pertaining to yield improvement.
Optimize site yield and achieve budgeted targets.
You will ideally be degree qualified / equivalent within a Food Science, Science discipline with experience delivering as a Process Technologist within a Food Manufacturing environment.
A broad knowledge of processes within Food Manufacturing will be required for this role as well an analytical mind, able to interrogate, drill down and identify key actions, apply Route Cause Analysis as well as strong influencing skills to persuade and negotiate your ideas for improvement through both the leadership team and colleagues on the factory floor
