Senior Procurement Business Partner (Corporate Services)
An exciting new opportunity for a Senior Procurement Business Partner to join one of the UK's largest housing associations which offers remote working, and a salary up to £63,000! The Senior Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the strategic development of the procurement function through support, influence, and contribution to the strategic and operational performance. As there are two positions available, you could be responsible for either existing properties and future assets or people and customer services directorates! Candidates will have previous experience within procurement at manager level and be keen to develop themselves within their careers.
Responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Business Partner (Corporate Services)
- Working in partnership with and leading cross-functional teams comprising of group wide operational and management colleagues from within Property Services, Property Investment, Development, and associated subsidiaries ensuring they're fully equipped to deliver against operational targets.
- Leading proactive analysis of designated areas of spend through effective use of project management, considering opportunity and risk, to establish a contracting pipeline fully aligned to the needs and priorities of operational teams to maximise best value.
- Apply a standard approach to research supply markets ensuring current knowledge and understanding of existing offerings, innovations, cost drivers and other required factors.
- Develop procurement strategies at various levels of expenditure; category, sub-category, and individual purchase / contract.
Responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Business Partner (Corporate Services)
- Working in partnership with and leading cross-functional teams comprising of group wide operational and management colleagues from within corporate, people and customer services directorates and associated subsidiaries ensuring they're fully equipped to deliver against operational targets
- Develop, implement, and monitor procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and practices.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance, of procurement systems and technology to support procurement operations.
- Leading proactive analysis of designated areas of spend through effective use of project management, considering opportunity and risk, to establish a contracting pipeline fully aligned to the needs and priorities of operational teams to maximise best value.
Experience of the Senior Procurement Business Partner (Corporate Services)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Procurement role
- Previous experience in leadership, management, and coaching
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor across procurement categories, including advising business areas on market trends, procurement strategy options, best practice tendering, contract award, implementation, and management.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with developments in procurement best practice.
Salary:
Up to £63,000 per annum.
