Senior Procurement Improvement Officer - London Borough Council

Are you able to take the lead in Procurement process improvement?
Can you work well with key stakeholders and clients, members, residents, external agencies, and the private sector? Excellent communications skills?


We are looking for you!

36 Hours p/w

£26.65 p/h PAYE - £35.80 p/h Umbrella (Circa £67K per annum)

Based in South London

The role

  • Ensuring that all processes are clear, well communicated and people across the organisation understand what they need
  • Improve the operation of our purchase to pay process within our purchasing system (Oracle Fusion)
  • Drive behavioural improvements in the P2P process
  • Developing & implementing new reports to help highlight areas of non-compliance
  • Supporting & training users to address issue they may be having
  • Acting as the lead in piloting the Oracle 'Guided Learning' functionality
  • Reviewing new starter training
  • Developing communication across the business

About you - Desirable skills

  • Strong knowledge of Council processes and environment
  • Highly analytical and able to spot patterns/trends in data to support your actions
  • Understand how to drive behavioural improvements in the P2P process
  • Working practice with Oracle Fusion
  • Great communicator
  • Knowledge of a range of software packages including Word, Excel plus database and work-flow packages
