Form of workAs our next Senior Manager of Procurement, you'll be managing and overseeing all aspects of Procurement from concept to end of life for your designated business area. Your role is to lead and manage the team, ensuring they professionally develop and maintain competitive supplier agreements that contribute to the long-term profitability of Aston Martin.
To excel in this role, you'll need to build strong collaborative relationships across all areas of the business, understand different internal customer needs, and communicate clearly and concisely to tailored audiences.
Working with a team of procurement professionals, your day-to-day activities will include leading and managing your area of the team and defining structure and governance to achieve business objectives. You'll also coach and mentor the team to deliver short, medium, and long-term goals aligned with AML's strategic direction. Additionally, you'll build strong supplier relationships, develop supplier strategies, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the company's goals are met.
You'll help develop a strong, strategic procurement team and continuously seek process improvement opportunities in conjunction with the wider Senior Manager team. You’ll liaise closely with Finance to align procurement targets and results with corporate reporting.

The Key Requirements...
- Previous Procurement experience in a manufacturing setting preferably within Automotive
- Understanding of the strategic role of the Procurement function and ability to work at this level.
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
