Job description

IDBS is a dynamic and innovative company providing purpose-built software solutions to address the data management challenges prominent across the BioPharma lifecycle and supply chain.

Leveraging more than 30 years of experience in life science informatics, we are uniquely positioned to deliver a portfolio of innovative BioPharma knowledge management technologies to streamline the capture, analysis, reporting and sharing of data required to accelerate the next generation of life-changing therapies. Cloud-native and analytics-centric, our platforms enable customers in research, development and manufacturing to efficiently and compliantly access critical data and insights to make faster, smarter decisions with greater confidence.

IDBS serves thousands of users across hundreds of organizations around the globe. Our predominant customer base is Life Sciences and includes 23 of the top 25 pharmaceutical companies and more than 250 small and medium-sized pharma and BioPharma companies, CROs, CDMOs and CMOs.

IDBS is one of 10 Life Sciences companies of Danaher. Together, we accelerate the discovery, development and delivery of solutions that safeguard and improve human health.

The life sciences industry is undergoing a period of disruptive digital transformation with the introduction of innovative new technologies to drive automation and accelerate scientific insight. Configuring and integrating these systems and instruments with existing data sources and established processes brings with it an inherent complexity that can challenge even the most forward-thinking organizations.

As part of our Product & Strategy organization, the Product Enablement Team is comprised of experienced product and delivery specialists who provide the bridge between traditional product management and our service delivery partners, and are responsible for ensuring the products we design, and launch can be implemented quickly and cost effectively by customer facing teams to address the myriad of end-user workflows we endeavour to support.

You will work closely with product managers, UX specialists, software engineers and both internal and external service delivery partners to identify ways in which we can reduce the time-to-value (TTV) of complex workflow deployment. Responsibilities include identifying product features and enhancements to simplify system configuration, as well as stakeholder education through the creation of best practice guidance on complex workflow design, preconfigured exemplars of our products for specific scientific workflows and assays, and the cultivation of user communities to share ideas and experiences to improve our products and showcase best practice.

Do you want to work in Product Enablement? Do you enjoy designing and delivering on best practice to solve the problems of our customers, as part of a product & strategy team?

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Enablement Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, specialised enablement tools to demonstrate platform value to internal and external customers.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of critical processes and requirements
  • Showcasing platform features and the real world value they bring to our target markets, through delivery of exemplar solutions, educational materials and best practice guidance
  • Contributing to departmental processes, such as Quality Management System (QMS), to assure quality deliverables

Here is what success in this role looks like:

  • Multiple years’ experience in a SaaS (Software as a Service) business
  • Understanding of the application of common industry compliance and quality standards (GLP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11) to software products
  • Domain knowledge within one or more Biopharma disciplines within drug discovery, development, or manufacturing
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding complex requirements and communicating related scenarios in a simple manner
  • Knowledge of agile software delivery methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Practical knowledge of IDBS, or similar, products
  • Good Honours degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Experience working with industry standard tools: Aha!, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Tableau

At IDBS we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. We recognize the benefits of flexible, hybrid working arrangements for eligible roles and are committed to providing enriching careers, no matter the work arrangement. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home. Additional information about this hybrid work arrangement will be provided by your interview team. Explore the flexibility and challenge that working for IDBS can provide.

When you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win. As an associate, you’ll try new things, work hard, and advance your skills with guidance from dedicated leaders, all with the support of powerful Danaher Business System tools and the stability of a tested organization.
