Senior Product Manager

As Senior Product Manager, you are leading a strong and agile Product Management team. With the team, you are working with different branches in the company and beyond. You are involved with the tactical product development, as well as commercially with marketing and sales. You are concerned with the proper positioning and marketing of our current and future products which we offer in the area of precision farming hardware and software. Furthermore, you are responsible for the introduction of new products into markets, while working closely with different departments across the organization. You report directly to the Product Director.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the Product Management team;
  • Ownership of product pricing, licensing and ROI;
  • Regular tactical alignment across our organization;
  • Identification and validation of market needs;
  • Responsible for product positioning in the market;
  • Making commercial and technical competitive analyses;
  • Lead market investigation and forecasting;
  • Setting the portfolio strategy and roadmap;
  • Provide input for Product Developments and Product Modifications;
  • Collaborate on business case development;
  • Initiating problem-solving activities within the organization;
  • Planning of product launches and releases;
  • Developing and maintaining a reference customer base.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (HBO/WO) in Business/Marketing/Sales or related field; otherwise 5+ years of commensurate experience;
  • Proven experience in Product Management;
  • Basic agronomic understanding;
  • Analytical mindset and strategic thinking;
  • Practical, technical and commercial attitude;
  • Customer- and solution-oriented mindset;
  • Preferably knowledge of electronics and software in the agricultural industry;
  • Ability to work both with others (within team and between teams) and independently;
  • Passionate in customer communication and a growth mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages appreciated;
  • Preferably leadership experience;
  • Willingness to travel.
