Role: Senior Product Manager
Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: Full Time (Combination onsite UK, Germany, Hybrid after probation period)
Salary: £50,000-£70,000 plus potential bonus of up to 15%
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Managerto join our client’s successful team in Baldock.
About the client:
My client are a privately owned business established over 25 years ago & are a leading manufacturer of specialist materials used to produce a wide range of technical products used in a niche sectors
About the role:
This is a newly created role & is pivotal to the company’s future success. You will report directly into the CEO &, in time, will build out Product & Marketing teams.
As a technology innovator for over 25 years the company have continually developed existing products and the Product Manager will identify new ones to support the changing needs of their worldwide client base. You will verify opportunities, providing solid business cases to the Board of Directors.
You must have extensive experience of end to end product management processes (creating a product vision, developing a product and bringing new products to users, and following up on how they interact with it throughout the entire product lifecycle).

What we would like from you:
- Minimum of 3 years Product Management experience at a senior level
- Knowledge of every aspect of the product development life cycle
- Proven history of developing and introducing products that are sold into new sectors / markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create product development and marketing strategies
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- In-depth knowledge about industry and product’s users
- Ability to analyse complex data to identify market trends and customers’ behaviour
- Successfully track record in scoping & then delivery of new product development programmes
Job Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
- Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
- Write the business case for gaining of internal approval
- Develop core positioning and messaging for the product
- Perform product demos to customers and develop relationships in key clients
- Establish viable pricing levels
- Monitor, report and improve product performance
- Commission market and competitor research
- Collate feedback from sales and customers
- Represent the voice of the customer in senior level management meetings
- Be recognized as a leader in the business and build relations with business stakeholders
- Deliver a regular (e.g. monthly) volume, revenue and profit forecasts
