Are you seeking a leadership role to develop operations management products and systems at the scale of Amazon? We are seeking an analytical individual with expertise in technical product management, particularly in operations management domain, to spearhead product development.
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional track record of launching operations management products, profound understanding of import/export processes in APAC, keen enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment, and are highly proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
This high-profile position involves collaboration with teams worldwide. In this role, you will shape the vision for architecting, inventing, automating, and optimizing end-to-end operations management. You will lead, develop, and execute a multi-year roadmap and engage with customers and stakeholders to gain insights that drive operations excellence and enhance the overall shipping experience.
Key job responsibilities
• Define, lead, and execute a multi-year roadmap strategy for the cross-border operations management system.
• Demonstrate a strategic, long-term approach to product development, utilizing continuous prioritization frameworks for multi-organizational initiatives.
• Create compelling product value propositions and garner consensus from diverse audiences, including PR, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance. Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate these propositions into a roadmap for developing globally scalable operations management products.
• Lead discussions and drive consensus on product prioritization, trade-offs, and investment.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, operation teams, to execute for large-scale and complex product launches.
• Oversee project milestones from design to launch, proactively addressing strategic and tactical issues. Deliver concise updates to stakeholders and leadership on program deliverables.
• Identify and measure product and business metrics to enhance improvements and deepen understanding of our Selling Partners, operators, and Logistics Providers (LSPs) needs.
• Accountable for overall product experience and performance
• Apply expertise in cross-border operations management, the 3PL industry, and related technologies to innovate, evolve, enhance, simplify, and optimize performance across all business units.
• Identify gaps and opportunities in cross-border operations experience, proposing initiatives such as new products, new features, and enhanced system architectures to better serve our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Deep understanding of export operations, trucking services, and expertise in the management of shipping and customs documentation for APAC region.
- Experience in successfully devising multi-year roadmaps and implementing operations management system and online customer support capabilities for large companies in the technical/e-commerce industry.
- Experience in end-to-end operational processes spanning onboarding, booking, shipping, document management, destination delivery, billing.
- Experience in technical product development within the technical/e-commerce, aerospace, and telecommunication industries. Adept at managing global, cross-functional teams encompassing sales, marketing, operations, finance, products, and technical teams.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- PhD/MS Degree in telecommunications or engineering
- Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
- Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to analyze data and develop metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
