THE BUSINESS
Our client is a market leading construction chemicals company based in Suffolk who specialize in the formulation and production of construction materials.


THE ROLE

• Plan production operations, while establishing priorities and sequencing for manufacturing products and use of machines
• Monitor the production process, check periodically, and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures of the company
• Review production schedules and estimate worker requirements to complete production assignments; direct day-to-day activities of employees in areas of production volume, quality, availability
• Manual work including mixing, weighing & filling.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of processes and equipment in the area of responsibility; interpret company policies, procedures, and practices; maintain adherence to company policies, health & safety standards, and good housekeeping standards.
• Train, coach, evaluate and review employees; organize personnel for optimum production; monitor operation efficiency and productivity; analyse and resolve work issues; assist employees in solving problems; initiate actions to encourage the employee to achieve goals.
• Prepare and maintain required production reports on SAP; reports and files including daily production log, labour summaries, batch profiles, deviations from standards; cycle counts, etc.,
• Perform the periodic evaluation of the subordinates' performance, in reference to the company Policies and Procedures
• Ensure that subordinate operators work according to the job description and that all working procedures are followed and applied

THE PERSON

• Excellent command of the English language
• Over 3 years of experience within a factory setting
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate computer skills
