The Faculty of Health plays an active part in addressing todays most challenging healthcare and psychological issues, through research-informed teaching and active, real-world learning. A position is available for a driven and resilient individual to join the professional services department of the Faculty. It is an exciting time within the University as a new student record management system is being implemented; making this an ideal time to take on a leadership role to help support the student administration within the School of Health Professions Programme Administration team. You will have responsibility for providing strategic direction and management of an extremely busy Programme Administration team in a demanding, yet rewarding role. You will work closely with senior academic colleagues and the administration team of varying grades to support the programme administration of students undertaking professional programmes, with particular reference to curriculum delivery, maintaining student records and assessment data and servicing of committees and meetings. You will also provide support to the Faculty Registry team. The role will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support the student experience, resolving assessment issues and analysing and interpreting data for contract monitoring purposes. You will have: An ability to multi-task and manage a complex, high volume workload An ability to prioritise own workload as well as the teams, particularly at peak times in the academic year Resilience and adaptability Experience of leading, inspiring and motivating a team Proven communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Excellent IT skills Some experience of data analysis An ability to work independently You will also be inspired and motivated by change Problem solving The location of this post is in the Rolle Building on the University Main Campus.
