About the roleThe Senior Programme Data Analyst will support the Innovate UK Business Growth Team, at Oxford Innovation Advice

by producing regular Salesforce reports, dashboard to monitor progress and KPIs. They will ensure all programme and Salesforce data is complete and accurate to meet Innovate UK's requirements.

Main areas of responsibility

  • Respond in timely manner to Innovate UK and OI Advice management request for specific data outputs.
  • Work closely with programme delivery team to embed client journey & data capture processes and to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  • Sets up Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and progress, and identify patterns, trends, outliers, and opportunities in the data, providing updates to management and Innovate UK/ analyse Programme Data and highlight any issues/opportunities.
  • Set up systems both internally and externally to pull together data from different sources and ensure that data is stored efficiently, adhering to compliance guidelines.
  • Deliver training to delivery teams and managers on usage of Salesforce and other reporting tools and processes.
  • Keep abreast of new programme requirements and communicate this with the delivery teams.
  • Take active part in the Innovate UK Data Excellence community of practice, share best practice, suggests improvements or design new processes.
  • Support the Client Engagement Manager in producing the quarterly reports and participate in monitoring meetings.
  • Undertake dayto- day Salesforce data checks (cleansing, filling gaps, etc.)
  • Additional administrative tasks that might be required as part of the Client Engagement team activities (supporting events organisation/administration).
  • Suggest improvements to operational efficiencies of the programme delivery. 

Job related skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Must be proficient in Salesforce reports and dashboards development (or similar database)
  • Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and the ability to learn new software in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and an ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, simple way, both written and verbal.
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and commercially aware
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical ability with particular attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of the mechanisms of business processes
  • A self-starter able to solve problems efficiently and effectively by prioritising the client.
  • Experience of providing administration support for senior and remote-based teams
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of planning and organisation skills together with ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet deadlines. /Ability to react to urgent tasks amidst multiple complex deadlines
  • Team-worker with the ability to work with a minimum level of supervision as appropriate
  • A completer/finisher who takes responsibility for delivering high quality work

Desirable:

  • Good level of Power BI
