About the Role:As the Senior Project Administrator, you will lead our clients project administrative team, creating a culture of excellence and efficiency. The role includes supporting and developing their current administrative team, streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a dedicated team of administrators, facilitating their growth and development through regular appraisals and objective setting.
- Serve as the go-to expert on internal system processes and requirements, ensuring compliance and timely completion of all project documentation.
- Anticipate project needs and take proactive steps to execute tasks efficiently, providing guidance to team members and motivating them to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate logistics and distribution activities, liaising with suppliers, couriers, and other third parties to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide comprehensive support to the sales team, including meeting minute documentation, server folder management, and assistance with client systems.
- Handle all aspects of order processing and documentation, including order confirmations, delivery notes, and commercial invoices.
- Assist with internal financial processes, such as job cost transfers, billing, and purchase orders, maintaining accurate records and logs.
The idealSenior Project Administrator candidate will need:
- To be proactive, organised, methodical and personable, with experience of managing a team
- Excellent IT experience including Outlook, Microsoft office and Teams. OMS would also be beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience of using business databases
- Great attention to detail and accuracy in all of their work
- Able to multitask and hit deadlines
- Previous experience within a similar role in a fast-paced environment

This role is based Baldock and is a full time office based role working Monday to Friday from 9 to 5:30. It includes 22 days holiday plus other benefits. You can expect to receive a salary up to £30,000 (dependent upon experience) plus benefits which include a company bonus scheme.
