WHAT TO EXPECT

To be part of our Engineering Quality team driving our engineering technical quality agenda for all of Product Engineering throughout vehicle lifecycle. This role will interact with all of Product Engineering working on transformation projects, external quality issues, internal quality issues, Customer satisfaction as well as building our body of knowledge through technical deep dives. Ultimately, the role will drive activities to deliver Quality targets for Product Engineering.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Delivery of Transformation Projects through engagement and collaboration of cross functional teams
• Manage the Customer Satisfaction Guild across Engineering and the wider Quality Functions
• Support and engage Engineering commodity teams to develop and execute a customer satisfaction improvement plan to ensure JLR has a roadmap to best in class.
• Support Engineering Quality progress for Customer Satisfaction at regular review meetings.
• Deliver and maintain our Engineering Quality Transformation Plan – Aligning to EQ’s Strategic Themes
• Support and engage commodity teams to ensure continuous improvement of quality.
   

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent
• Ability to interface and communicate confidently at all levels
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments
• Demonstrable business acumen
• Well organised, methodical, exhaustive and structured
• Naturally pays attention to detail
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills providing the ability to represent the team at senior meetings 
• Extensive experience of using Microsoft Office, including Excel (NB), PowerPoint and Visio
