Senior Project Developer - Onshore Wind

Project Developer / Project Manager for the identification and assessment of on shore wind projects.

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Developer to support in the development of wind projects. As a Senior Project Manager in the wind sector, you will be responsible for driving forward the identification of land opportunities for wind projects and the progression of these sites through to pre-construction.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Project Manager responsibilities include but aren't limited to,

• Establishing and identifying new land opportunities for wind-related projects
• Carry out site survey, assessments and feasibility studies
• Driving essential lease negotiations with landowners, agents and contract agreements.
• Influence and manage the full projects planning applications, pre-application, public consultation, and preparation of application documentation.
• Communication with cross-functional teams to understand and optimize site development and parameters.

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in renewable energy and development field
• Degree in Planning, land, environmental or Engineering discipline.
• Past knowledge working with site assessments, planning applications and consent orders.
• Confident working on land lease agreements and options.
• Strong project management knowledge and comfortable communicating with people of all levels.
• Full UK driving license - happy to travel frequently to site.
