Job Description
Gleeds Belfast are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Project Management team.
It’s an exciting time for a candidate to join the Gleeds Belfast business, as we have recently relocated to the new Custom House Square development in the heart of Belfast City Centre. Staff will be working in a state-of-the-art office facility and be able to utilise some of the fantastic facilities such as free gym, digital detox room, podcast room and social spaces. The team are working on exciting projects including working with local councils, universities and housing associations on prestigious city centre and regional developments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
- Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships
- Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our client’s requirements.
- Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures
- Mentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential
- Managing service delivery for profit
- Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- Sound project management experience post qualification
- Ideally chartered or working towards this
- Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project and cost management techniques
- Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, including NEC and JCT suite of contracts
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Ability to chair, manage and chair meetings, following up with assigning actions to all parties on a project
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and provide high level of service to meet their requirements
- Assistance in the preparation and execution of bids and business development
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
